Pain Management
It is our goal to provide you with information about back- and neck-pain relief and to include you in decisions about your care. We will believe and act upon your reports of pain in a timely manner, and you will be included in discussions about different ways to control it.
We help patients take an active role in controlling their own pain, beyond the effects of medications. We always focus on facilitating the achievement of the best possible patient outcomes: Minimizing pain and pain medication leels while maximizing activity and addressing pain-related psychosocial issues.
Our pain management services include both physiatry and interventional pain management. Physiatry approaches pain management with conservative treatments using physical therapy and medication and other avenues of physical rehabilitation to restore functio. Interventional pain management includes various outpatient procedures such as pain injections, pain pump trials and spinal cord stimulation. These services all have a common goal of reducing or eliminating pain and taking steps toward healing.

Spine Surgery
Spine surgery is an art form and should be considered only after noninvasive or minimally invasive methods have been unsuccessful. Our providers carefully evaluate the decision to perform surgery. Factors that may influence whether surgery is appropriate include past medical history, how long pain has been present, the severity of the disorder or condition, and timing. Patients who are approved for surgery will benefit from new technologies and techniques that improve recovery time and functionality.
Our providers perform a variety of spine surgeries to best meet the needs of the patient. Speak with your provider to find out if surgery is an option for you and which surgery is most appropriate.
